Tim Mikeska of Mikeska Brands, and member of the First Family of Texas BBQ, will be on hand to deliver demos on the fine points of cooking championship barbecue. A huge kudo to Pat Morley of Catfish Sound for his talented and expert handling of our sound. And thank you to the bands Pat arranged to provide that outstanding music for you. You were all wonderful.
And thanks to the Kentucky State BBQ Festival Committee and all of our volunteers for all of the hard work they put into making this event a success!
And to Mayor Mike Perros and the City Commission of Danville, City Manager Ron Scott, Danville Police and Fire Departments, the Boyle County Fiscal Court and Judge Executive Harold McKinney, the Danville/Boyle County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Heart of Danville Main Street Program and all the other officials and local offices that supported us in making the Kentucky State BBQ Festival possible.
And last, but certainly not least, thanks to all of you who come from all over the U.S. and the world to enjoy the best BBQ in America. Without you, there would be no Festival. We had visitors from 48 states and several foreign countries this year. We love you all. See you next year!
