2013 Bourbon Barrel Art Project and AuctionThe 2013 Bourbon Barrel Art Project and Auction will be held at 8PM on Friday, September 6, 2013 at the Warehouse on Perryville Road. You can view the barrels beginning at 7PM. Admission is $10 in advance and $15 at the door. There will be complimentary food and a cash bar.
The barrels were donated by Four Roses Bourbon and the artists are hard at work trying to top last year’s wonderful barrel art. For more information, see the Bourbon Barrel Art Project and Auction web page.

Sample your favorite Bourbons and BBQ in the comfort of Grayson’s Tavern, complete with air-conditioning, educational offerings, and all the modern comforts. The Bourbon Tavern, sponsored by The Kentucky State BBQ Festival, Danville-Boyle County Convention and Visitors Bureau and the Kentucky Bourbon Trail.
The Char-Broil Tru-Infrared Tour will be at the 2013 Kentucky State BBQ Festival. They will be bringing their 60′x20′ display and will be cooking, sampling, holding contests and giving away swag to all attendees. See more info here.
Dr. Wes Berry will be at the Festival to sell and sign copies of The Kentucky Barbecue Book and answer your questions about barbecue in Kentucky. Wes has visited over 172 BBQ joints around the Commonwealth and has great stories to tell.

We are talking to some of the top names in BBQ to bring you the very best barbecue demos at the 2013 Kentucky State BBQ Festival.
Tim Mikeska of Mikeska Brands will be on hand to deliver demos on the fine points of cooking championship barbecue. Tim Mikeska is CEO of Mikeska’s Bar-B-Q Inc. and owns Mikeska Brands.
